Michael was voted in as Pastor of Akron FBC in June of 2021, after serving for five years at Elk Point Baptist Church in Elk Point, SD.

During his five years in Elk Point, Michael worked in a variety of different ministries. He started as an intern, moved to youth pastor in 2018, and after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in theology, was promoted to the assistant pastor, before accepting the position in Akron.
 
He and his wife, Hannah, were married in June of 2019, and have faithfully served the Lord together in a variety of different ministries during that time. They moved to Akron in November of 2020 and really love the community.  

The Moos Family is passionate about introducing lost hearts to Jesus and discipling new believers in a healthy church.

Logan joined Akron FBC as Youth Pastor in September 2025 after serving as a staff intern for several months.

He graduated that same year with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies from Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During his time in college, Logan gained valuable ministry experience by serving at Southwest Baptist Church and interning at several churches over the summers.

Logan and his wife Lily have a desire to reach and disciple the next generation and are excited to invest in the youth of Akron. They love the family-friendly spirit of Akron FBC and are thrilled to serve alongside the church family to impact lives for Christ.
