Session 1 - What is Baptism?
This session introduces the biblical meaning of baptism. Baptism is not a means of salvation, but a symbol—an outward expression of an inward decision. Through baptism, a believer publicly identifies with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Believers learn that baptism is a testimony to the world that Jesus has saved them and that they are not ashamed to follow Him. It is a declaration of new life in Christ.
Key Emphasis
- Baptism is a symbol, not salvation
