Proverbs 14:30 – "A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.”
In the pages of Scripture, we find the cautionary tale of King Saul's jealousy towards David. Saul's envy led him down a dark path, causing him to lose favor with God. Jealousy corrodes the soul like a disease, affecting not only the heart but the entire being.
Jealousy often emerges from comparison, insecurity, and fear. It festers in the shadows, gradually consuming our peace and relationships. But God calls us to possess a sound heart filled with love and contentment.
