Wednesday - Reflecting Christ's Fullness

II Corinthians 3:17-18 - "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
The church is called to reflect the fullness of Christ to the world. And that starts with each of us. In today’s passage, Paul reminds us that we are being changed into the image of Christ with ever-increasing glory. It’s not just a future hope—it’s something that’s happening right now.

As we spend time with Jesus and focus on Him, we begin to reflect who He is. The more we look at Him, the more we start to look like Him. His love becomes our love. His character shapes our character. That’s what transformation is all about.

But don’t miss this—it’s not something we do on our own. This change comes by the Spirit of the Lord. We’re not called to strive, but to submit. To open ourselves daily to the Spirit’s work and let Him do what only He can do in our hearts.

Take some time to think: How are you reflecting Christ’s character today? In what areas can you see His hand at work in you? Where do you know you still need to grow?

Don’t be discouraged if you’re not where you want to be yet. You’re in process—and God is faithful to complete the work He started in you.
