Tuesday - Renewing Your Mind

Romans 12:1–2 – “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Here’s the truth—you and I are shaped by what we think about every single day. Our thoughts eventually become our actions, and our actions end up shaping our lives.

That’s why Paul says in Romans 12 not to be conformed to this world. In other words, don’t let the world squeeze you into its mold. The world tells you to live for yourself, chase success, and do whatever feels good. But God calls us to something better – He calls us to present our lives as a living sacrifice.

And the way that happens is through a renewed mind. God changes us from the inside out. When you fill your thoughts with Scripture, prayer, and His promises, it changes the way you live. A renewed mind leads to a transformed life.

So, let me ask you—what negative thoughts or worldly perspectives have been influencing you lately? How can you intentionally fill your mind with God’s truth today? Maybe it’s memorizing a verse. Maybe it’s spending extra time in prayer.

If you want transformation, it starts in the mind. And when your mind is renewed, your life will reflect God’s perfect will.
