Thursday - Seeing God in Your Hap
Ruth 2:3 “And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.”
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
The Bible says Ruth’s “hap was to light on” Boaz’s field. What seemed like chance was actually providence. Providence is the protective care of God. God was working in her steps all along. Often, we don’t see His hand until we look back. But faith believes that even the “coincidences” of life are orchestrated by a sovereign God who works all things for good.
You may not recognize it now, but your current season—your job, your friendships, your struggles—may be the very field God intends to bless. Keep making right decisions, one step at a time, and watch how He weaves the ordinary into the miraculous.
