Tuesday - God Moves In His Time

Nehemiah 2:1 – “And it came to pass in the month Nisan… that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king.”

In chapter 1, it was the month of Chislev.
Now it’s Nisan.

Four months have passed.

Four months of praying. Four months of carrying a burden. Four months of nothing changing.

That doesn’t sound long when you read it quickly. But it feels long when you’re living it.

Nehemiah couldn’t rush the king’s question. He couldn’t manufacture the opportunity. He couldn’t schedule the breakthrough.

All he could do was stay faithful.

Sometimes we’re ready before God says go. We see what needs to happen. We want resolution. We want the green light.

But providence has a clock — and it’s not set to our impatience.

God is never late. Never early. Always right on time.

Maybe you’re in a “four month” season right now. Still praying. Still waiting. Still faithful.

Trust the One who controls the calendar.
