Tuesday - Bearing the Fruit of Light
Ephesians 5:9–10 – “(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.”
Galatians 5:22–23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Light produces fruit: goodness, righteousness, and truth. These do not come from human effort but grow naturally when we abide in Christ.
Goodness reflects God’s kindness toward others. Righteousness means doing what is right in God’s eyes, not simply what is acceptable to the world around us. Truth calls us to live with integrity in every part of life.
As you walk through today, take a moment to look at the fruit your life is producing. Are your actions marked by genuine goodness? Does your character reflect righteousness? Is truth evident in your words?
These qualities reveal what is pleasing to the Lord. They are the visible evidence of an invisible transformation. Ask God to cultivate this fruit in your life and make you a living testimony of His transforming power.
