Thursday - Understanding the Will of God

Romans 12:1-2 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

God's will isn't a mysterious treasure hunt; it's a transformational journey. Paul reveals that understanding God's will begins with surrendering yourself completely and renewing your mind through His Word.

Too often we seek God's will for future decisions while ignoring His revealed will for present obedience. God's will is found in Scripture—love others, pursue holiness, serve humbly, forgive freely. Before asking "Who should I marry?" or "What career should I choose?" ask "Am I obeying what God has already shown me?"

Wisdom means taking the next right step in obedience, trusting God with the rest. You don't need to see the entire path; you just need to follow the Light. Walk in obedience today.
