Wednesday - Redeeming the Time
Psalm 90:12 – “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
Ephesians 5:15-16 – “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
Life is short—a vapor, a span of a hand—and every moment that passes is a coin you'll never get back. Redeeming the time means recognizing the value of each day and investing it in what matters eternally. We live in a world obsessed with the temporary, but wisdom calls us to focus on the eternal.
How are you spending your days? Are you pouring your energy into things that will matter ten thousand years from now, or are you letting precious time slip away on distractions that won't outlast this life?
Today, ask God to help you see time as the gift it is and to use it for His glory.
