Thursday - You Have a Choice

Mark 14:21 – “The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.”
Judas was not forced to betray Jesus.
He chose it.
Even in the upper room, even after the warning, even while sitting in the presence of Christ, he still had an opportunity to turn back.
But he did not.
God does not force anyone to follow Him. He gives us the freedom to choose. But we are not free from the consequences of those choices.
Judas chose betrayal over belief.
He chose regret over repentance.
And that is still the choice in front of us today.
Every time you are confronted with sin, you have a decision to make. You can confess it or conceal it. You can run to Jesus or run from Him.
One path leads to life. The other leads to regret.
