Wednesday - Recognizing God’s Hand

Nehemiah 2:8
“And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.”

Nehemiah 2:18
“Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me.”

Psalm 127:1
“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.”

One phrase appears again and again in Nehemiah’s story:

“The good hand of my God was upon me.”

Nehemiah understood something important. The success of the mission did not come from strategy, influence, or personal ability. It came from God.

God opened the door with the king.
God provided the resources.
God protected the journey.

When Nehemiah looked back, he could clearly see the hand of God guiding every step.

The same is true in our lives. When we pause and reflect, we often begin to notice how God has provided, protected, and directed us in ways we did not see at the time.

What God begins, He sustains.

When we recognize His hand in the past, it strengthens our confidence for the future.
