Tuesday - Nothing Is Hidden From Jesus

Mark 14:17-18 – “And in the evening he cometh with the twelve. And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.”

Hebrews 4:13 – “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

Jesus knew exactly what Judas was going to do.

He knew the betrayal before it ever happened. He knew the thoughts forming in Judas’s heart. And yet, Judas still sat at the table, still received kindness, still experienced grace.

That truth is both sobering and comforting.

There is nothing in your life that Jesus does not already know. He knows the things you would never say out loud. He knows the struggles you try to hide. He knows the motives behind what others only see on the surface.

You may be able to fool people. You may even fool yourself. But you cannot fool Jesus.

And yet, here is the good news.

He knows everything about you and still invites you to come.

I John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Judas hid his sin. He carried it alone.
