Tuesday - Your Unique Contribution Matters

Nehemiah 3:8 – “Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.”

I
Corinthians 12:12 – “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.”

I Corinthians 12:18
– “But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.”

In Nehemiah's project, priests sanctified the work, craftsmen shaped the materials, and rulers organized the efforts. Each person brought something different, yet equally valuable.

Paul reminds us that the Body of Christ functions the same way. We need every gift, every member, every contribution. You may not have the same abilities as others, but God has uniquely equipped you for specific kingdom work.

Perhaps you're not a teacher, but you excel at hospitality. Maybe you're not a leader, but you're a faithful servant behind the scenes. Don't despise your gift or compare it to others. Ephesians 2:10 declares you are God's workmanship, created for good works He prepared specifically for you. What has God placed in your hands? Use it today.
