Friday - Keep Your Eyes on Jesus
Hebrews 12:2 – “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Colossians 3:2 – “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
Hebrews 11 shows us great people of faith. Hebrews 12 shows us the source of faith. Your faith does not grow by comparing yourself to others. It grows by focusing on Jesus. When you stare at your circumstances, your faith shrinks. When you stare at your Savior, your faith grows. Jesus started your faith, and He will finish it. So lift your eyes today. Refuse to live distracted. Fix your focus on Christ and walk forward in faith.
