Thursday - The Victory of the Resurrection

Mark 16:6 – “And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.”
The cross is not the end of the story.
If all we had was Mark 15, it would be a story of suffering and death.
But we have Mark 16.
“He is risen.”
Jesus did not stay on the cross.
He did not stay in the grave.
He rose again.
That changes everything.
Death has been defeated.
Sin has been conquered.
Hope is alive.
The empty tomb is the proof that the cross worked.
Reflection:
Are you living in the reality of the resurrection, or are you still living as if the story ended at the cross?
