Tuesday - Reactions to the Storm

Mark 4:37-39  – "And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. and he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto hi, Master, caress thou not that we parish?"

Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a storm?
This week in North Texas there was a tornado that took the lives of at least 2 people. These storms are nothing to belittle!

Knowing the dangers of them, we often react.
Some panic.
Some fear.
Some protect.

The disciples reacted to the storm and their circumstances in fear.
We can react to our circumstances just the same!

This reaction caused them to forget that Jesus was in their boat! They were safer than ever in the hands of Jesus...but their reaction caused them to forget.

Today, if you're going through a storm,
Don't react...remember.

Remember who God is.
Remember what He has done for you.
Remember His care.
