Wednesday - The Depth of God’s Love
Romans 5:8 – “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
God did not wait for you to clean yourself up.
He did not wait for you to get your life together.
He loved you while you were still a sinner.
That is what makes the cross so powerful.
Jesus did not go to the cross because we deserved it.
He went because He chose to.
He chose the nails.
He chose the suffering.
He chose the cross.
Not because He had to—but because He loved you.
The cross is not just a symbol of suffering.
It is a declaration.
It is God saying, “I love you,” in the loudest way possible.
