Thursday - Where Your Faith Belongs

Psalm 18:2 – “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
Jeremiah 17:7 – “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.”
Faith is only as strong as what it is placed in. Some people trust money. Some trust relationships. Some trust their job or even themselves. But all of those things eventually fail. People change. Money disappears. Life shifts. God never does. It is not about how confident you feel today, it is about how faithful God always is. A chair does not hold you because you believe in it, it holds you because it is strong. God holds you because He is faithful. So move your trust back where it belongs today. Stop leaning on temporary things and start resting on an eternal God.
