Building Fund Update
We are thrilled to share that an anonymous donor has offered a generous $5,000 match for funds, and the Lord’s provision has been evident in remarkable ways! Thanks to this incredible generosity, the $5,000 goal was quickly met—and exceeded! In just a few short weeks, over $10,000 has been raised for the building fund.
This is such an exciting milestone for our church and community as we continue working toward the expansion of our building. We’re grateful for God’s faithfulness and for the hearts of those who have supported this important step in our growth!

What's New?
Revived Ministry: Sunday School & Connection Groups!
We are excited to share that our Sunday School and Connection Groups have been revived and are off to a wonderful start! Every Sunday morning at 9:30, our church family comes together for a time of fellowship, learning, and spiritual growth. Whether you're a child, a teenager, or an adult, there's a class designed just for you!
Our adult group has recently wrapped up a powerful series on Spiritual Gifts. Through this study, participants had the opportunity to identify their unique spiritual gifts and gain deeper insights into how God has specifically equipped them for His purpose. It was a time of reflection, growth, and encouragement as we explored scripture and learned how to use our gifts to serve others and build the body of Christ.
It’s been a blessing to see so many engage in this revitalized ministry, and we are excited about the continued growth in our Sunday School and Connection Groups. These groups offer a great way to build community, strengthen relationships, and deepen our understanding of God’s Word.
If you haven’t yet joined us on Sunday mornings at 9:30, we invite you to come be part of this exciting new chapter in our church’s life. We look forward to seeing you there as we continue to grow together in faith!
Pastor featured on New Podcast
In mid 2024, Pastor Michael was asked to be a part of a podcast project. The podcast tackles big questions with bold answers. The hosts navigate the complexities of real life with clarity, grounded in biblical truths, for the people who want to live with direction and purpose. The podcast, Young Not Dumb, released its first episodes on February 10 and will release a new episode each Monday. While young people are in mind for the content, it is very applicable to all ages!
In a world where it’s easy to live fast and carefree, we invite you to pursue a life grounded in wisdom and grace, following a path far greater than anything you could create on your own. Every week, we explore genuine questions from real individuals, shining a light on how the Bible speaks to the challenges we encounter today. Join Jesse Hailey, Michael Moos, and McKenzie Banks as they boldly tackle some of the most raw and overlooked topics with honesty, humor, and authenticity—always pointing back to Jesus.

Past Events:
A Cozy Morning of Fellowship: Women’s Gathering on February 8
On the snowy morning of Saturday, February 8, nearly 30 women of all ages gathered at the church for a warm and uplifting time of fellowship. Despite the cold outside, the atmosphere inside was filled with joy, laughter, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee from Spot Coffee Shop, which greeted everyone as they arrived.
A delicious spread of food was available throughout the morning, creating a cozy and welcoming environment where women could relax, connect, and enjoy one another’s company. The worship team led the group in beautiful praise, setting a peaceful and reflective tone as hearts were prepared to receive the morning’s message.
Attendees were blessed by inspiring and relatable devotions shared by Kaylene Hawkins and Hannah Moos. Their biblically grounded teachings touched hearts and encouraged everyone to reflect on God’s Word in fresh and meaningful ways. It was a relaxed yet powerful gathering that left everyone feeling refreshed, encouraged, and deeply connected.
We are grateful for the time spent together and look forward to more opportunities for fellowship and growth in the future!
Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser
On a chilly February day, our church family came together for a fun and flavorful Chili Cook-Off fundraiser, with all proceeds going toward the building project. The event brought out some friendly competition, plenty of laughter, and, of course, some mouthwatering chili!
The community rallied behind this event, and we are excited to report that over $750 was raised—an incredible contribution to our building fund! The competition was fierce, but the voters spoke, and the results were clear.
Congratulations to our winners!
Thank you to everyone who participated, whether by cooking, voting, or just enjoying the wonderful community atmosphere. We are so grateful for your support, and it’s exciting to see how our church family continues to come together to make the vision of our building expansion a reality.
We look forward to more events like this as we continue to grow and serve together!
Pastor Michael Preaches at Omaha Church Event
This March, our very own Pastor Michael Moos had the privilege of being invited to preach at FBC Plattsmouth, located just outside Omaha, for their special Midweek Revive event. The event featured guest speakers from all over the country throughout the month of March. The church was founded in 1958 and in 1989, Pastor Raymond Wicks became the pastor there. The church had only three members at the time and had never had a full-time pastor. God’s hand has been evident throughout the years as the church experienced rapid growth to now where the church welcomes several hundred people weekly and has thriving ministries including a Christian school. In 2010, they moved into a new building to be able to continue to grow and function. The building is beautiful, and the members are kind and welcoming.
On Wednesday, March 19, Pastor Moos delivered a powerful message on the theme of God's Love — a message that has been a cornerstone of our faith and ministry. In his sermon, he reminded the congregation that God’s love is unconditional, unwavering, and ever-present. He encouraged the attendees to reflect on how they experience and share God's love in their own lives, emphasizing that this love isn’t just for a select few but for all people, everywhere.
“We live in a world that often feels divided, where love can feel fleeting or conditional,” Pastor Moos shared. “But God’s love is constant and unconditional, and it’s a love that we’re called to share with those around us. It’s this love that changes lives, that heals wounds, and that brings us closer to one another and to our Creator.”
We are so proud of Pastor Moos for being invited to serve and minister to the broader church community. His message of love, hope, and grace serves as a reminder of our collective mission to spread the good news of God’s love to all corners of the world.
Please continue to keep Pastor Moos in your prayers as he leads our congregation and continues to share God’s love with others, both near and far.
