Wednesday - Standing Firm with Peace

Ephesians 6:15 – “And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;”

Philippians 4:7 – “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

If a soldier can’t keep his footing, it doesn’t matter how strong the rest of his armor is—he’s going down when pressure hits.

And the same is true spiritually.

The gospel gives us a kind of peace that doesn’t come from things going our way. This isn’t peace based on good circumstances or easy seasons. This is peace rooted in what Jesus has already done.

Because of Christ, you have peace with God—your salvation is settled. And as you trust Him day by day, you can experience the peace of God—a steady, grounded heart even when life feels shaky.

When anxiety tries to throw you off balance…
When fear starts making you second-guess everything…
When your mind starts spiraling…

The gospel reminds you:

  • God is still in control.
  • You are secure in Christ.
  • And nothing can separate you from His love.

Just like cleats help an athlete stay planted, the gospel keeps your soul grounded.
