Monday - Truth Holds Everything Together
Ephesians 6:14 – “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;”
John 17:17 – “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
Truth is the foundation of everything in the Christian life. Just as a belt holds a Roman soldier's armor together, God's truth holds our faith together. In a world where everyone claims their own truth, we must anchor ourselves to what God declares as true - His Word.
Satan's first attack in the Garden was against truth: "Yea, hath God said?" He uses the same strategy today, whispering doubts about God's character and promises.
When we fasten the belt of truth tightly around us, we're not just acknowledging facts; we're declaring that God's Word is the final authority over our feelings, culture's opinions, and the enemy's lies.
Today, identify one area where you've been believing a lie instead of God's truth, and replace it with Scripture.
