Friday - Before God Rebuilds the Wall

Psalm 51:10–12 – “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”
Before God rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls, He rebuilt a man.
Before revival came to a city, revival came to a heart.
We often want God to fix what’s around us — our culture, our church, our families.
But Nehemiah shows us that the real rebuilding begins within.
It all started:
- In a palace.
- On an ordinary day.
- With a man who took his burden to God.
The question is not: Do you see the ruins?
The question is: Will you carry the burden?
Takeaway:
Before God changes what’s around you, He changes what’s within you.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”
