Thursday - Power of Prayer
Ephesians 6:18 – “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Ephesians 6:10 – “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
Prayer doesn’t work because we try harder.
It doesn’t work because we say the right words.
It doesn’t work because we get emotional.
Prayer works because it connects us to God’s power.
To pray in the Spirit means we’re not relying on ourselves — we’re depending on Him.
This whole passage reminds us the strength comes from God, not us.
Prayer isn’t about forcing God to do our will.
It’s about aligning our hearts with His.
It’s saying, “God, I can’t do this on my own — I need You.”
