Ephesians 2:4 - " But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,"
Titus 3:4-5 - "But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

Two of the most hope-filled words in the Bible: 'But God.' We were hopeless… but God stepped in. His mercy is rich. His love is great. The gospel is not about us climbing up to God but about God coming down to us. He did so in the most sacrificial way by dying on the cross for our sins. What a moment to reflect on. His substitutional death took our place, who were dead in trespasses and sin!
It is only by God’s grace, love, mercy, and kindness that we are not consumed by our sin nature. How does God’s mercy encourage you today? How can you be an encouragement to others? Reflect on His greatness and remember…
