Thursday - A Story of Grace

Ephesians 2:7 - "That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus."

I Timothy 1:16 - "Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting."

Your salvation isn’t just for now, but it is a testimony that God will point to for eternity. You’re a living display of His grace! It is not all about what we can accomplish on our own, but what God has done through us! The world says, “Look what I have done,” but the Christian says, “Look at what God has done in me.”

In college I worked as a valet at a 5-star hotel. I saw my share of celebrities, NBA players, and corporate businessmen; all who had much to show for their success. Joshua 1:8, however, says that a man who obeys God’s Word can find success. We are to live a life that fully displays God’s goodness in our life.
