Thursday - Stranger to Family

Ephesians 2:19 – “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;”
The transformation from outsiders to family members is at the heart of today's passage. In Christ, we're no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens and members of God's household. This new identity calls for a shift in how we see ourselves and others. How does knowing you belong to God's family change your self-perception? How might it affect how you treat other believers?
Today, look for ways to live out your identity as a child of God and a sibling to fellow believers. Extend the welcome and belonging you've received in Christ to others, especially those who might feel like outsiders.
