Friday - Built Together for God’s Glory

Ephesians 2:20–22 - “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
Have you ever seen a construction site where everything slowly comes together? At first, it looks like a mess of dirt and materials. But over time, with care and planning, something beautiful begins to take shape.
That is the picture Paul gives us here. He reminds us that we are being built into something much greater than any man-made structure. We are being formed into a dwelling place for God Himself.
Like any strong building, our lives need a firm foundation. Paul says that foundation is built on the teaching of the apostles and prophets. At the very center of it all is Jesus Christ. He is the cornerstone. Without Him, nothing holds together.
But with Christ as the center and the Word of God anchoring us, we become something strong, purposeful, and beautiful. And God is not just building us as individuals. He is building us together.
We are not meant to be isolated bricks. We are not called to live as lone rangers in the faith. We are fitly framed together. We are joined, growing, and becoming a living temple where God’s Spirit dwells.
Are you building your life on Christ, the cornerstone? Let Him be the center of your decisions, your priorities, and your identity.
Are you connected to the body of Christ? God designed you to be part of His church. Lean into those relationships. Serve others.Be faithful to church. And encourage others.
