Wednesday - Living for God's Glory

I Corinthians 10:31-33 - "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: 33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."

Ephesians 3:20-21 – “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”

Today, we consider what it means to live for God's glory in every aspect of our lives.

Paul instructs us to do everything for the glory of God, even in mundane activities like eating and drinking. This challenges us to view our entire lives as an opportunity for worship and to reflect God's character to the world around us.

Reflect on your daily routines and interactions. How can you more intentionally bring glory to God in these areas? It might be through showing patience in traffic, being diligent in your work, or showing kindness to a difficult person. Remember, when we live for God's glory, we fulfill our ultimate purpose and find our deepest satisfaction.
