Wednesday - God Cares for Your Soul

I Peter 5:6-7 – “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
In a world where real care can feel rare, it is life-changing to know that the God who spoke the stars into place cares personally for you. He is not distant. He is not indifferent. He sees you, He knows what weighs on your heart, and He invites you to bring it all to Him.
Peter tells us to cast our cares on the Lord because He cares for us. That is not just a nice thought—it is a command paired with a promise. God is asking you to hand Him the burdens that you were never meant to carry alone.
What are you holding on to today? Worry, stress, fear, or something you have not told anyone about? Whatever it is, God is big enough to handle it and loving enough to want it.
And as you experience His care, let it shape the way you care for others. There are people around you who feel overlooked or unloved. Let the love and compassion of God overflow from your life into theirs.
He cares for your soul.
