Monday - Walking Worthy of Our Calling

Ephesians 4:1-6 – “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
God has called each of us to a high purpose. Just as a job offer can change our perspective and behavior, our calling in Christ should transform every aspect of our lives.
Today, reflect on what it means to "walk worthy" of your calling. How does your daily life reflect the incredible blessings God has given you? Consider the weight of God's grace, forgiveness, and love on one side of the scale, and your actions and attitudes on the other. Are they in balance?
Ask God to help you live in a way that honors the magnitude of His gifts to you.
