Wednesday - Walking in the Light

 I John 1:5–7 – “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

John makes it clear. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. That means His presence exposes and drives out every shadow. And as children of light, we are called to walk in that same light.

Are there areas in your life where you are still stumbling in the dark? Maybe it is a sin you have been hiding. Maybe it is a truth you have been avoiding. The longer we hold onto those things, the more they trip us up.

The good news is –  You do not have to stay there. God invites you to bring those things into His light today. Confess them. Seek His forgiveness. And let the blood of Jesus cleanse you completely.

Walking in the light does not mean you will never stumble. It means you will not walk alone. You will have fellowship with God and with other believers who are walking with Him too.
So step into the light today. Remember, you are no longer bound by darkness. You are called to shine His light in the world.
