Thursday - Gratitude

James 1:17 -- "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no
variableness, neither shadow of turning."

Chesterton said it well: "When it comes to life the critical thing is
whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude."
Every good thing in your life came from the Father -- and He doesn't
change. The sunshine, a good friend, the small ordinary moments -- all
gifts from a steady, loving God. Don't assume you earned them. Take
them with gratitude, and even the ordinary starts to look
extraordinary.
