Tuesday - July 4th

II Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Did you know that many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence (52 out of 55) openly professed their faith in Christ? They declared their independence from Britain while also acknowledging their dependence on God.
As we celebrate America's birthday today, our nation needs restoration. The key to this restoration is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which states that if God's people humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways, He will hear them, forgive their sins, and heal their land.
Our nation can only be great if we seek God's will and put Christ first in every aspect of our lives. God promises to heal our land when we turn to Him with humility and dependence.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
