Friday - Refuse to Quit
Nehemiah 4:17 – "Every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon."
One hand on the trowel. One hand on the sword. They were working and fighting at the same time.
That's the picture of someone who has decided to finish.
And then Nehemiah says it — "Our God shall fight for us." That word shall in the Hebrew means certain, ongoing action. Not might. Not could. God WILL fight. God IS fighting. God doesn't stop fighting.
The people who were exhausted, mocked, threatened, and working with one hand — finished the wall. Not because they were strong enough. But because God fought for them.
The halfway mark is not where your story ends. Stay on the wall. Keep building.
Your God shall fight for you.
