Psalm 27:14 – "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."

When I was a child, I had a dream of becoming a sports broadcaster. I was overjoyed when I secured a summer internship at a radio station, thinking that it would help me achieve my goal. However, the reality of my role was very different from what I had imagined. Instead of working on the air, I was a simple board operator who had to just press buttons to turn microphones on and off. It was far from what I had expected.

This experience taught me the importance of being patient. Just as I had to wait for nearly two years to get the opportunity to work in my desired role, there are times in life when we have to wait for our dreams to materialize. Waiting can be frustrating, but it's during these times that our character is refined, our faith is strengthened, and we learn to trust in God's timing.

Psalm 27:14 reminds us to wait on the Lord with courage, for He will strengthen our hearts. He knows the perfect timing for our dreams to come to fruition. So, when you find yourself in a season of waiting, take heart and trust that God is working behind the scenes, preparing you for the extraordinary things yet to come.
