Psalm 1:2 – “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

In our faith journey, we often stumble upon rigid plans and schedules. Yet, as Keith Plummer wisely reminds us, a Bible reading plan's true purpose transcends rigidity—it's about dwelling in the Word, not adhering to a timetable. Just as missing a meal doesn't prompt us to forsake nourishment, a missed reading doesn't warrant abandoning the scriptures.

The psalmist emphasizes the blessings that come to those who delight in God's law, meditating upon it day and night. Life's pace may cause detours, but our commitment to the Word remains steadfast. Let's remember it's not about perfection in routine but about finding solace, guidance, and growth as we stay rooted in the unchanging truth of God's Word.
