Story of David - Day 13
I Samuel 17:45 – "Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied."
David faced Goliath with a simple truth: Goliath had weapons, but David had the Lord of Hosts on his side. When we confront our own challenges, they may seem intimidating, armed with doubt and fear. Yet, like David, we can trust in God's strength.
Deuteronomy 20:4 – “For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you."
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Psalms 18:2 – “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
With faith, we can stand confidently, knowing that the power of the Lord is greater than any obstacle we face.
