Story of David - Day 5

I Samuel 16:21 – "And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer."
David's loyalty to King Saul is truly remarkable. Initially, he served Saul with love as his armor-bearer. Even when Saul's feelings turned sour and he sought to harm David, David remained loyal and never turned against him.
1 Samuel 24:6 – “And he (David) said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD'S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.”
David's unwavering loyalty teaches us the value of forgiveness and love, even in difficult circumstances. His story reminds us to choose love and grace over revenge.
Let's learn from David's example and strive to extend kindness, even when we encounter difficulties or opposition in our own lives.
