Story of David - Day 32

I Samuel 20:1 – "And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? What is mine iniquity? And what is my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?"
In 1 Samuel 20, we find David fleeing from Saul's wrath and seeking refuge with his dear friend Jonathan. The opening verse reflects David's confusion and desperation as he questions his actions and the reason for Saul's relentless pursuit.
Sometimes, life throws us into situations where we, too, feel unjustly targeted or falsely accused. In those moments, like David, we may wonder, "What have I done? What is my sin?" It's crucial to remember that even in our trials, we can turn to God and seek guidance and support from our faith community.
Just as Jonathan provided shelter and counsel to David, we should rely on our friends and loved ones and trust in God's plan, knowing that His purpose will prevail, even in the face of adversity.
