Thursday - God Is All You Need

Philippians 4:19-20 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
In our consumer-driven world, it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking, “If only I had this, then I would be content.” But true fulfillment does not come from what we own or achieve. It comes from knowing that in Christ, we already have everything we need.
Paul reminds us that God supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory. That means no matter what you lack in this moment—whether it is peace, strength, wisdom, or provision—God is more than enough.
Take time today to examine your heart. Are there things or circumstances you are relying on for satisfaction instead of God? How can you shift your focus to rest in Christ as your source of completeness?
Challenge yourself to list the ways Jesus meets your deepest needs. He is the Bread of Life, the Living Water, the Prince of Peace, the Good Shepherd, and so much more. Let that truth settle in your heart.
God is all you need.
